It’s snowing again. The trip home was long and slidy and at some points slightly scary.
There’s only one good use for snow, using it in a champagne bucket. It’s not really a champagne day, so I settled for Jacob’s Creek Chardonnay Pinot Noir instead.
It’s assertive, with a perky sparkle and lots of apple and a little lemon, even some biscuit. It’s great value to add some sparkly cheeriness without going the full champagne hog.
You can pick it up online or at supermarkets.
